The Moser pendant from 2002 is the only lamp design from celebrated Swedish ceramic artist and conservator Anu Moser. The fixture produces an overall soft and discrete light due to the viscosity of its mouth blown opal glass shade, thus providing an especially pleasant light distribution.
Moser shaped her design after observing how molten glass behaves as a material when hand and mouth blown. She has enclosed the light source to ensure an appealing, glare-free light, fit for energy-efficient light bulbs.
The luminaire also has a special patented aluminium suspension fitting that creates an interesting contrast to the pendantās otherwise delicate and organic shape, which makes the lamp design appear modern and yet classic.
The fixture emits diffused light and the thickness of the glass results in very comfortable light distribution.
