Knoll Tugendhat Lounge Chair With Arms

Knoll Tugendhat Lounge Chair With Arms

Manufacturer: Knollstudio

Designer: Mies van der Rohe

This is an original Knollstudio piece.

Originally known as the Feder-Sessel, the Tugendhat chair was renamed after five of the designs were installed in the renowned Villa Tugendhat in Brno, Czechoslovakia, a building designed and furnished by Mies van der Rohe in 1930. The Chair is a beautiful nod to Knoll’s architectural heritage. While inspired by Knoll’s history, the Tugendhat chair offers a modern day take on the design and is perfect for any space with a wide array of upholstery options.

Note: The cantilevered structure of the Tugendhat Chair has a certain elasticity that provides extra comfort and support. This flexibility of the structure may result in a slight variation in the total height between one chair and another.

Note: The KnollStudio logo and the signature of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe are stamped into the base of the chair.
