Jaime Hayon's highly sought after Roā¢ lounge chair now fits two at a time, as Republic of Fritz Hansen introduces Ro as a two-seater sofa. Building on the curvy characteristics and playful, colourful expression that characterise his other Fritz Hansen designs, the new Ro sofa builds on Jaime Hayons's philosophy, inviting two to experience a unique sense of privacy while enjoying ample space.
Warm and welcoming, the Ro sofa features a high back that creates an intimate space perfect for a nook in the home or a breakout area or room division in any open office environment or other open space. Two Ro sofas facing one another create further possibilities for ctreating private yet connectedinterior spaces.
"Ro" means tranquillity in Danish. The name was chosen because it captures the point of the chair in just two letters, thus reflecting the Nordic approach and concept of beauty. Ro is made with great craftsmanship and in the highest sustainable quality. Combined with the sculptural and elegant design, the result is a functional and aesthetic chair that fascinates its surroundings. One seems to fall in love with it. Ro does not compromise on either comfort or aesthetics.
The Roā¢ Sofa comes fully upholstered in a selection of unique Designer Selection colours in the fabric Fiord: One colour for the shell and one for the cushions.
