The BM0121 is a masterclass in Scandinavian restraint — a round extendable dining table in solid oak that proves great design needs nothing superfluous. Børge Mogensen first presented this table at the Arts and Crafts Spring Exhibition in Copenhagen in 1952, conceived as part of a democratic furniture series for smaller homes. Carl Hansen & Son has faithfully relaunched it, recreating the design from an original model measured entirely by hand — no drawings existed.
Perfectly proportioned for four, the BM0121 extends to seat six via a traditional pull-out leaf in solid oak or MDF, making it as practical as it is beautiful. Its ingenious simplicity and quality craftsmanship ensure it earns its place at the centre of any dining room for decades to come.
