Designed in 1959 as part of Bodil Kjær's Indoor-Outdoor Series, the BK12 lounge sofa brings the same Cubist precision as the rest of the collection to a two-seat form — generous enough to settle into, structured enough to hold its own in any setting.
The frame is solid teak, with armrests, legs and runners mortised together to form two clean squares. The slatted seat and back are comfortable without being soft, and the teak will patinate naturally over time into the silver-grey tone characteristic of well-aged outdoor wood.
