The Metropolitan series has been B&B Italiaās benchmark for lounge seating since 2002. Metropolitan Relax is what happens when that benchmark gets rethought from the inside out.
Jeffrey Bernettās starting point was movement. The tilt rocking and swivel mechanism at the heart of this chair doesnāt resist the body - it follows it, adjusting fluidly to every shift in position without requiring any conscious input from the person sitting in it. The redesigned upper backrest and adjustable headrest extend that logic upward, providing support for the head and upper body that most lounge chairs simply donāt offer.
The result is a chair that works as hard in a private study as it does in a luxury hotel lobby or executive office. Upholstered in a wide selection of fabric and leather grades, the Metropolitan Relax is available to order in the grade that suits the space.
