There is a rare intimacy in the language of textiles; a dialogue between touch, memory and atmosphere. Tile Rug marks the latest collaboration between Audo and Kroeyer-Saetter-Lassen and captures that intimacy with a design born of tactile warmth and architectural rhythm. Creating a grounding presence in any room, every detail carries intention: deep-textured lines recalling bricks that hold the day’s heat, earthy tones that speak of memory, and a surface crafted to invite exploration.

Woven from a blend of New Zealand wool, jute and cotton, its composition of individual “tiles” arranged against a natural backdrop offers underfoot comfort, visual harmony and a subtle narrative — a reference to tradition reimagined for contemporary living. As with all rugs made from natural fibres, some shedding is to be expected.

Available in two colours, Ivory and Hazel, and two sizes, 170 cm × 240 cm and 200 cm × 300 cm, each rug offers a bespoke sense of scale and presence, anchoring a space without overwhelming it. It transforms the floor into a stage, where texture becomes memory and craftsmanship becomes comfort.
